I will attend the following event:

Creating a Culture of Philanthropy on the Board (networking at 11:15, program at noon)

Does your organization sometimes struggle with its Board of Directors’ engagement in fundraising or acquiring resources or generative partnerships? In this talk, we’ll share how development officers and leadership can help create a culture of philanthropy on the board by: equipping directors to meet their roles as fiduciaries, de-mystifying fundraising for board members, empowering directors to better leverage their spheres of influence, and illuminating pathways to participation in the donor cycle. Let’s meet board members where they are to help get your fundraising goals where they need to be! “We will be hosting this session in person following suggested guidelines to maintain health and safety while gathering to hear the great information presented by our speaker. Face coverings are required for all attendees regardless of vaccination status. Our lunch will be served boxed, and you may remove your mask briefly when you are eating or drinking. Seats will be physically distanced. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. This session will be recorded and distributed to all those that have registered.
