JOB DESCRIPTION That Others May Live Foundation (TOMLF) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charity that provides support to the United States Air Force Rescue community and their families. TOMLF pledges to ensure full college funding to every surviving child of a Rescue Hero who loses their life in the line of duty, immediate tragedy assistance funds to aid families, and visible & invisible wounds support to our warriors and families. DUTIES: ~ Act as the liaison between the Board of Directors (BoD) and other Foundation members. ~ Meet with the board regularly to keep them informed on operational issues and work with them to come up with strategic solutions to complex challenges. ~ Prepare Biannual BoD meetings. ~ Provide strategic guidance to the Foundation and the directors in their areas. ~ Coordinates and guides the Executive Committee and hosts monthly meeting. ~ Leads the Director of Advancement’s fundraising efforts in setting annual income goals, ~ Works with Director of Operations to set standards for serving the foundation’s programs. ~ In addition to executive-level duties, some accounting duties and half of the fundraising duties, and other tasks as required by the Foundation. ~ Speak directly with reporters, donors, government representatives and members of the community, acting as the public face of the Foundation. ~ Develop and maintain relationships with other nonprofit leaders. ~ Brings an established set of business and professional contacts that can be of significant value to the Foundation’s mission and goals. ~ Develop and execute an annual operating plan by forecasting revenues and expenses. ~ Create, coordinate and ensure accountability of Foundation Policy and Procedures. ~ Lead the recruiting, training and sustainment of employees, contractors, volunteers, and ambassadors. REQUIRED SKILLS ~ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. ~ Proven success leading the development, coordination, and implementation of one or more strategic plans. ~ Demonstrated performance developing and executing marketing and fundraising strategies and plans. ~ Served in a management or leadership position. ~ Familiar with market analysis process to support identification of Potential Growth Targets. ~ Demonstrated experience planning, executing, and documenting senior level meetings. PREFERRED SKILLS ~ Prior USAF experience, prior service with Rescue ~ Non-Profit Operations and Finance experience ~ Background as a social media influencer. ~ Website development, management and regulatory compliance.
